With a history of being an art teacher and established painter, Brae Toia began 2003 studying Makeup Design and Production at the Design & Arts College of New Zealand and finished her year, styling Chalkydigits Lookbook for New Zealand Fashion Week and Sharon Ng's Cookbook for Paris.
Since then, with an artistic detail and hardworking ethic, Brae has had involvement with film, various local and international television commercials, hairdressing competitions, photographic work, fashion shows and being an accredited TVNZ, Mediaworks and Bauer Media makeup artist, hair stylist and wardrobe person.
Brae has also been evolving her onset experience by branching out to production work, props buying/dressing and styling so she can not only manage, but also dress, style, accessorise and beautify a model to give an overall cohesive look and feel to any campaign.
Experienced in everything from special effects to hairstyling, from body painting to corrective, television and film editorial and fashion, Makeup ArtistryNZ also specialises in events such as weddings and formals. Brae can not only offer comprehensive packages, one on one or group consultations and lessons for people of all ages but also can be integrated into a group environment or design and head a team.
