With a history of being an art teacher and established painter, Brae Toia began 2003 studying Makeup Design and Production at the Design & Arts College of New Zealand and finished her year, styling Chalkydigits Lookbook for New Zealand Fashion Week and Sharon Ng's Lookbook for Paris.
Since then; with an artistic detail and hardworking ethic, Brae has had involvement with film, various local and international television commercials, hairdressing competitions, photographic work, fashion shows and being an accredited TVNZ, Mediaworks & Bauer media makeup artist, hairstylist and wardrobe person.
Brae also has been evolving her onset experience by branching out to production work, props buying/dressing and styling, so that she can not only manage, but also dress, style, accessorise, and beautify a model to give an overall cohesive look and feel to any shoot.
'I love being able to collaborate ideas to produce something that is beautiful and I feel priviledged to be working within an industry where I constantly feel passionate about my creativity and can inspire confidence in others'..
